String Theory for Kids

This film was created by Shaun-Michael Diem-Lane, an 11 year old student, as part of his final science project, which also includes an illustrated magazine and an interactive iBook for iPads. Shaun explores how a golf ball is made of rubber bands, which are made of molecules, which are made of atoms, which are comprised of protons, neutrons, and electrons….. finally, exploring the theoretical concept that all of matter is made of tiny loops of string. It also became part of a larger iBook which became the most downloaded string theory book on Apple’s iTunes for over two years.
